 Buttermilk Pancakes



Ingredients:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 cups buttermilk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup melted butter or vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract



Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  2. In another bowl, whisk buttermilk, eggs, butter, and vanilla.
  3. Pour wet ingredients into dry and stir until just combined.
  4. Heat a nonstick skillet over medium heat. Lightly grease with butter or oil.
  5. Pour 1/4 cup batter per pancake. Flip when bubbles form.
  6. Cook until golden brown. Serve with syrup and butter.
