- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1 unbaked 9-inch deep-dish pie crust
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- In a large bowl, whisk together the pumpkin puree, evaporated milk, and eggs until well combined.
- In a separate small bowl, combine the granulated sugar, salt, cinnamon, ginger, cloves, and nutmeg. Mix well.
- Add the dry spice mixture to the wet pumpkin mixture and stir until everything is thoroughly incorporated and smooth.
- Pour the pumpkin filling into the unbaked 9-inch deep-dish pie crust.
- Bake for 15 minutes at 425°F (220°C).
- Reduce the oven temperature to 350°F (175°C) and continue to bake for another 40-50 minutes, or until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean.
